The Fast & Furious star announced the news on his Facebook page revealing the film bosses are "excited" about his new film, which also features Elijah Wood and Rose Leslie.

He writes, "So the studio apparently is so excited by the Last Witch Hunter - The Axe and Cross franchise... that they are already... commencing on the next one."

The Last Witch Hunter will hit cinemas in October (15).
