The Channel Four New Team have returned with two new teaser trailers
The day is fast approaching when Anchorman 2 is released to an eager public, with the second and third teaser trailer for the long-awaited sequel going viral this weekend. The new trailers follow the same formula as the first (released earlier his year), with the news team reeling off another line of funny quips each to the backdrop of bright stage lights.
San Diego's finest news anchor and his loyal team - played by Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Steve Carell - will return to the big screen in December this year, with filming for the project already underway.
To garner more anticipation for the return of Ron and the rest of the Channel Four news team, the official Anchorman 2 YouTube channel posted two variations of the teaser over the weekend, each as funny as the last.
As filming continues, the inner-workings of the film keep being revealed, with rapper/singer Drake (sporting a rather impressive afro) being the latest star to be spotted filming a cameo for the film in New York recently. Drake's appearance in the film comes along with the already confirmed appearances from includes Harrison Ford, Nicole Kidman, Kanye West, Tina Fey, Kirsten Dunst, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler, John C. Reilly, Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep. As far as we know, there could even be more people added to the stellar line-up too! Christina Applegate will also be returning to the film, despite being a smelly pirate hooker in the first film.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is slated for an official release date of December 20, just in time for Oscar season. Watch the other trailer below.
