‘The Voice’ coach Will.i.am has confirmed he’ll be staying on with the show when it moves to ITV next year. The Black Eyed Peas main man has been with the show since its first series in 2012 and has seen a revolving door of fellow music stars join him on the panel.

Will.i.amWill.i.am will be retuning to ‘The Voice’.

Will will also be a coach on spin-ff show ‘The Voice Kids’, which is aimed at 7 to 14 year olds. In a statement he said: “I’m delighted to be continuing ‘The Voice UK’ on ITV and being a voice of direction and guidance for the usual suspects, and I’m thrilled to add ‘The Voice Kids’ to the mix.”

“I know 'The Voice' switched to ITV, but I’m not going to BREXIT 'The Voice UK'. I’m happy to make ITV my home now. I love the UK.” There’s no word yet on who will be joining Will on the panel, but Ricky Wilson has confirmed he will not return to the show.

Paloma Faith and Boy George, who joined Will and Wilson last series are yet to confirm wether they’ll be making a comeback. Last month singer Jess Glynne revealed she’d turned down an offer from the show, saying: “I am not in the right place in my life at the moment.”

“I’m not anti-reality TV. I am still really early in my career, it’s too early to be judging people’s lives and where they are going in music,” Glynne told The Evening Standard. "There is so much more I want to achieve rather than go into TV.”

Another name who's reportedly said no is Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney. The Sun reported in May that bosses were desperate to land McCartney, saying it would: “blow judges from the BBC series out of the water and would set 'The Voice' apart as the top music contest in the world.”

But days later the NME reported that Macca would not be joining the show, with a source close to the singer saying, “An approach was made, but Paul won’t be doing it.” There has also been speculation that Tom Jones will be retuning as a judge, after being axed by the BBC last year.
