Destiny's Child's new song Nuclear is the latest surprise comeback this week, with the legendary David Bowie and not-so legendary Suede both announcing their first new material in over 10 years. With Bowie's Where Are We Now? topping the download charts, we can't help but think Bernard Butler and Brett Anderson got their timing very, very wrong, though Beyonce, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland have enough star power to confirm their reunion as a pretty big deal.

Perhaps we should make it clear to R&B fans that the Destiny's Child reunion isn't quite a full-blown comeback, yet. For now, it's limited to a new track on a Love Songs compilation set for release on January 29, 2013. It's been written and produced by Pharrell Williams with a little help from Michelle Williams and the cover art shows the three members who comprised the multi-million selling trio last time out. The group have been relatively silent since their last album Destiny Fulfilled in 2004, though Beyonce has established herself as one of the biggest artists in the world while Kelly has enjoyed moderate success as a solo artist and Michelle has performed in the West End.

In their first spell together, the group became the world's biggest R&B group with hits such as Survivor, Bills, Bills Bills and Bootylicious. Though the trio's intentions are unclear, we probably shouldn't hold our breath for a full comeback. Yet.
