Fact: Rockers Iron Maiden are set to close the Download Festival at Donington Park in England in June (16). The performance will be their only show in the U.K. next year (16).

Fact: Bruce Dickinson's aviation company has set up a pop-up stall at London department store Harrods to sell private jets to super-wealthy customers. The Iron Maiden frontman is chairman of Aeris Aviation, the company behind the initiative.

Fact: Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain showed his passion for snooker by attending the final of the sport's World Championship in Sheffield, England on Monday (05May14). The match featured reigning title holder Ronnie O'Sullivan against Mark Selby.

Fact: Iron Maiden's branded beer Trooper Ale is to be served to British politicians at the bar in the House of Commons in London after a member of parliament (Mp) nominated the beer to be introduced to the drinks list.

Fact: Iron Maiden's beer, named Trooper, has proved so popular that the brewer of the drink - a deep golden ale which features a hint of lemon - has stepped up production to six days a week to meet demand from more than 100 countries.

Fact: Iron Maiden rocker Steve Harris is selling his mansion - which comes complete with its own pub. The sprawling property, in Essex, England, also features a soccer field, indoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The estate has been listed at $10.8 million (£6.75 million).

Fact: Rockers Iron Maiden have signed up to headline Britain's Download Festival next summer (Jun13) on the 25th anniversary of their first appearance at the event.

Fact: Barry Clayton, the actor who provided the spoken-word intro to Iron Maiden hit The Number Of The Beast, has died, aged 80. He stepped in when horror movie star Vincent Price turned the band down. Bruce DICkinson and his bandmates were then alerted to the voice talents of Clayton, who was reading ghost stories on radio at the time.

Fact: Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson took to the skies this week (beg18Oct10) to fly British soccer team Liverpool FC to Italy ahead of a match in the country on Thursday (21Oct10). The singer is a qualified pilot and often flies the band around the world while on tour.

Fact: Legendary British broadcaster John Peel's son, TOM RAVENSCROFT, will replace Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson as the host of a Friday night show on digital station BBC 6. Peel was BBC Radio 1's longest-serving DJ at the time of his death in 2004.

Fact: Iron Maiden are to perform a historic Italian show at Napoleon Bonaparte's former residence, Villa Manin near Udine on 17 August (10). The palace was built in the 17th century.

Fact: Iron Maiden are in negotiations with Norwegian video developer Hybris to create a new game based on the group's music and the band's monster mascot EDDIE. The game has been awarded a grant from the Norwegian Film Fund for the first phase of development.
