Comedian/actor Aasif Mandvi Was Left Disappointed After His Rowdy Friends Forced Security Guards To Ask Him To Leave A New Year's Eve Party Thrown By His Childhood Crush, Brooke Shields.
Mandvi jumped at the chance to meet the Blue Lagoon star when she invited him to the bash several years ago, but the Spider-Man 2 star and his friends didn't realise the get together was a classy soiree.
He says, "I showed up with a bunch of my friends and we were all a little bit stoned and we showed up to what we thought was going to be this crazy New Year's Eve party... and it's nice cocktails with her family and friends (with) sushi.
"My friends came into this little apartment and were (yelling) and they started eating the sushi and she kicked me out of the party. I never even got to say hi to her.
"I got there and I thought, 'This is it, I'm finally going to meet Brooke Shields, who I had a poster of on my wall', and then my friends ruined it. Somebody came up to me and said, 'You know, Brooke would really rather that your friends didn't (stay)'. I couldn't leave my friends, so I had to go."
