Adam Levine's new fiancee Behati Prinsloo has shown off her engagement ring for the first time since the Maroon 5 star proposed over the weekend (13-14Jul13).

The One More Night hitmaker popped the question in Los Angeles after recently reuniting with the Victoria's Secret model following a brief split at the end of last year (12).

The couple announced the exciting news on Tuesday (16Jul13) and the following evening (17Jul13) the South African stunner stepped out at the Mercer Kitchen in New York City, where she debuted her diamond sparkler as she smoked a cigarette with friends.

The 24 year old tells ET Canada her ring is "perfect" and she is still soaking in the moment: "I am so happy and excited and still can't believe it's true! It was a one-knee thing! It was serious, it was very old school!"

The stars have yet to begin planning their nuptials, with Prinsloo insisting, "(We are) just celebrating with our friends and family at the moment."
