The Britpop band's bassist has praised the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker saying she is ''bigger'' than ''anyone ever'' and Alex - who has children, Sable, Beatrix, Artemis, Geronimo and Galileo, with his music producer wife Claire-Neate James - has admitted he ''can't resist The Swift'' and insisted if you have ''little girls'' you have to be a fan of Taylor's ''great tunes''.
Alex told NME: ''She's bigger than anyone ever and if you've got little girls you can't resist The Swift. They're great tunes, she's smoking hot, what's not to like?''
Guitarist Graham Coxon shares his bandmate's love of Taylor.
He said: ''(Taylor) is a wholesome person with some classy opinions.''
Meanwhile, when asked whether he would work with the 25-year-old pop princess Blur singer Damon Albarn said: ''Very few people I write for use my songs and it's a bit of a mystery to me.''
