Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose have left the internet gobsmacked after sharing the selfie that no one expected. Both Rose and Kardashian shared a picture of them hanging out together on their Instagram accounts, less than a week after Kanye West’s twitter meltdown.

Rose simply captioned the picture, ‘Swingers’ along with a frog and coffee cup emoticon, while Kardashian wrote, ‘Tea anyone?’. The picture is particularly surprising considering the comments Rose made about Kardashian’s husband Kanye West on twitter last week.

After West had involved Rose in his twitter war with Wiz Khalifa by mentioning her and her son, the model shut her ex down with one explicit tweet. In response to West’s comments Rose tweeted: ‘‘Aww @Kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a*****e anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA******h.’

Two days later West responded tweeting: ‘Exes can be mad but just know I never let them play with my a**… I don’t do that… I stay away from that area all together. I’m not into that kind of s***… I like pictures and videos. Me and my wife got the kind of love that can turn exes into best friends.’

He also eventually apologised for mentioning Khalifa and Roses’ son Sebastian during the drama, writing: ‘God’s dream… Never speak on kids again… all love … all blessings…’ West’s twitter tirade had started when he mistakingly thought Khalifa had referenced his wife Kim in a tweet which mentioned ‘KK’. The tweet was actually about the rapper’s strain of marijuana, which is coincidently named ‘KK’.

Twitter drama aside, Kardashian and Rose have a complicated history, with the model having dated Kanye West prior to his relationship with Kardashian. In 2012 Rose branded Kardashian a ‘homewrecker’, saying she had pursued the rapper while they were still together.

"Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together. She's a homewrecker," Rose told Star magazine. "They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.”

Things between the pair might have also been further complicated recently when it was revealed that Rose's BFF Blac Chyna is now dating Rob Kardashian. Chyna is the former girlfriend of rapper Tyga, who is now in a relationship with Rob and Kim’s younger sister Kylie Jenner.
