Princess Eugenie was the lucky one (or unlucky one) when Beyonce went fishing for someone to sing with during Irreplaceable. The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who is 6th in line to the throne, couldn’t really peform, though.

"She was really excitable and filming the whole thing on her iPhone like any other fan,” a source told The Mirror. “Beyonce clearly didn’t recognise her so when it came to Irreplaceable, and the part where she picks on an audience member to join in with her, she simply chose the first woman she could reach.” Given that Beyonce failed to show for her scheduled meet and greet with Eugenie before the gig, this was either a terrific coincidence or an attempt at contrition from Destiny’s Child singer. When put in the spotlight, the blue-blooded royal didn’t have it in her to perform, timidly miming ‘to the left, to the left’, before nearly imploding with embarrassment. “When Eugenie, who had gone bright-red, ducked down, Beyonce was forced to quickly fill in the missing words and find a new, willing victim."

BeyonceBeyonce doing one of her signature moves

It looks as if this is a tradition for Beyonce, finding someone to sing Irreplaceable with, but with tickets selling post-sale for upwards of £600, we’re not sure the fans would want to see a bright red princess stutter on stage. Beyonce is continuing her Mrs Carter tour and will be returning to the 02 tonight for her 3rd London show.
