Rapper Big Boi has given fans hope for an Outkast reunion next year (14) after revealing he has been "discussing some things" with Andre 3000 to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album.
Big Boi recently admitted he has been trying to convince his longtime collaborator to hit the studio with him to start work on a new album, their first since 2006, but the Hey Ya! star has just not been interested.
However, Outkast devotees may have something to look forward to in 2014 to celebrate the success of their first disc, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, if their plans come to fruition.
Big Boi tells Los Angeles radio station Power 106, "We been kind of discussing some things. Once we map it out, we'll make an announcement. But we'll see. It's 20 years, man. We started out at 15, 16 years old. We made our first album when we were 17 years old. Twenty-five million records later, seven Grammys, I feel great."
The old pals both recently appeared on collaborations with Frank Ocean and T.I., but Andre 3000 insisted his work on the two projects was as a solo artist - and Big Boi's subsequent addition to the tracks were simply by coincidence.
