Billie Eilish will "never" discuss her private life ever again because she has so much life left ahead of her as a young girl in the public eye.
Billie Eilish will "never" discuss her private life ever again.
The 22-year-old pop star - who previously dated Neighbourhood singer Jesse Rutherford for a matter of months from October 2022 before coming out as bisexual - wishes that she could go back to a time when fans were clueless about what she did away from the cameras and she has made the decision to stop divulging personal details in the media from now on.
She told America's Vogue magazine: "I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever. And I hope that they never will again.
"And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again."
The 'Birds of a Feather' hitmaker previously noted that life is really "unfair" to her as a young woman who is known around the world and initially felt as if she had to abandon her youth in a sense because of her fame.
She told Variety: "Being a woman is just such a war, forever. Especially being a young woman in the public eye. It’s really unfair. It turns out that I’m young, and I have a whole life of s*** I can do.
"Maybe because my life became so adult very young, I forgot that I was still that young. I settled in a lot of ways: I lived my life as if I were in my 70s. I realized recently that I don’t need to do that."
Billie has also had to convince herself that she is attractive and has "never really felt" like a girl to begin with.
She said: "I’ve never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. I’ve never felt desirable. I’ve never felt feminine. I have to convince myself that I’m, like, a pretty girl. I identify as ‘she/her’ and things like that, but I’ve never really felt like a girl."
