Bjork has scrapped another date on her upcoming South American tour so she can fully rest her voice after doctors found a nodule on her vocal cords.
Earlier this month (Apr12), the singer cancelled the final two dates of her Buenos Aires residency in Argentina and now she has pulled the plug on her scheduled headlining set at the Sonar Sao Paulo festival in Brazil (11-12May12).
In a statement, event bosses tell fans that Bjork's doctor has urged her to rest, warning that performing too soon could cause permanent damage to her voice.
But there's good news for her devotees - in a post on Facebook.com, she writes, "My voice is already a little better after quiettude," adding, "The ailment has gone from nodule to polyp."
