Blake Lively Wasn’t 'Throwing Shade' At Taylor Swift - She’s Actually 'Obsessed' With The ‘Bad Blood’ Singer

Blake Lively, the 28-year-old Age of Adaline actor and wife of Ryan Reynolds, wasn’t mocking Taylor Swift with her recent Instagram post. Lively posted a picture in which she joked – as she later clarified in good humour – about being part of a music video for John Legend’s cover of Swift single ‘Bad Blood’.

The image showed Lively posing for a L’Oréal Paris shoot with Legend and other such stars as Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore and Naomi Watts. She captioned the image:

‘...soooo, turns out this WASN'T a video shoot for John Legend's cover of Bad Blood. @lorealparisofficial blew it out for this one. My #pinkobsession is exposed now. Ok your turn. I won't tell! #AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood. Time to start a petition!’

Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ video, released earlier this year, featured a number of Swift’s celebrity friends including Cara Delevingne, Cindy Crawford and Karlie Kloss. Following Lively’s post, some of her Instagram followers accused her of mocking Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ music video. In response, Lively posted another picture, this time showing members of her husband’s family meeting Swift, and clarified her previous comments in the caption.

‘Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn't know I have a "Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll",’ Lively wrote. ‘#obsessed. Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star. Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Lively. I mean Swift. Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva.’

Throughout her 1989 tour, Swift has brought a host of celebrities on to the stage either to perform with her (as in the case of Lorde and Selena Gomez) or simply to make an appearance (like Lena Dunham and Julia Roberts). After her recent comments, could Lively be the next star to receive an invite?
