Actress Camryn Manheim Is Set To Make Her Broadway Debut In The Upcoming Revival Of Rock Musical Spring Awakening.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner has been cast in the new production, which will be performed in English and American Sign Language simultaneously.
Manheim joins a cast including Broadway veteran Patrick Page, There Will Be Blood actor Russell Harvard, and hearing impaired actress Marlee Matlin, who will also be making her debut on the Great White Way.
The Deaf West Theatre production of Spring Awakening, based on Frank Wedekind's drama about teenage sexuality in late-19th century Germany, will feature 27 deaf and hearing impaired performers.
The Spring Awakening revival begins previews on 8 September (15).
