Casablanca - Hurricane Season
London four-piece Casablanca rock out at home in the video for their newest single 'Hurricane Season' due out on June 17th 2013.
The video shows the band in their own (rather sophisticated) homes in North London playing in their respective living rooms and challenging each other to a game of bowling at a bowling alley. The song is classic upbeat indie rock with an infectious melody, soaring guitar riffs and a driving bass line as well possessing a distinct, radio-friendly pop quality to it.
The band; who are Jacob Wheldon, Callum Akass, Tom Herzberg and Tom MacColl; released their debut single 'Yes/ Natalie' on Party Politics earlier this year followed by a string of dates in the UK including supporting Bristol band Coasts in March. They are currently planning some more live dates in support of their latest single, after having a busy month in the studio recording a new set of tracks. 'Hurricane Season' has so far received support from the likes of XFM and Radio 1 and Casablanca have even been praised by fellow indie band Peace. It certainly looks like Casablanca are destined for big things in the forthcoming months and we'll waste no time in naming them as one to watch for 2013.
