The 48-year-old former world super-middleweight champ went public with his secret nuptials during a recent appearance on Britain's The Claire Balding Show.

He says, "I went downstairs pretending to be going to Starbucks. I actually found out we got could get a licence. So we literally had the honeymoon the first eight days."

Geary, who has changed her name to Eubank, added, "It was the last day of the holiday that we got married. I was there for nine days and I was due to leave. It was unplanned and unexpected.

"We've been married for just over six months and we've kept it relatively quiet."

Eubank divorced his first wife Karron in 2005.

His son Christopher, who has embarked on a career in boxing, was his father's best man at the surprise wedding.
