Pratt revealed their meeting was almost like fate and they had very similar backgrounds including growing up a short distance away from each other in Minnesota.

"Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life," Chris wrote on Reddit.

"She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA. We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on. Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love."

Pratt was on the site answering questions about his upcoming film, Jurassic World. The 35-year-old actor stars in the upcoming sci-fi adventure film along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B. D. Wong. The next instalment in Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park franchise is set in the dinosaur theme park Richard Attenborough's character, John Hammond, envisioned in the first film but things start to go horribly wrong when the park's owners start to breed genetically engineered dinosaurs.
