There's always next year.
A child's first Christmas is always touch and go for parents, and for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's daughter Luna it was touch and go as quickly as possible just get me away from Santa, mom. Chrissy shared a couple of photos from Luna's first Santa visit, and it looks like it didn't go exactly as she'd planned.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's daughter hates Santa
It's really hard to type the name 'Santa' without typing 'Satan' by accident at least once. But for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's 7-month-old daughter Luna, perhaps that latter word was more appropriate when she went to see Santa at Macy's in New York City for the very first time.
On Wednesday (December 14th 2016), Chrissy unveiled a photo on Instagram of Luna reaching out to touch Father Christmas' face with the caption: 'I love the holidays'. The next photo that she posted told a rather different story. Luna was sat on Santa's knee, her face contorted in an expression that clearly showed her mid-wail. Chrissy compared her experience to some of the comments that other mothers have made about their children this year.
''She did such a good job!' 'She didn't even cry!' We only share what we want you to see, my loves', she captioned the second image. Thankfully, Luna looked a little happier in another shot that Chrissy put on Twitter. This time, she was in the picture with her daughter, while a friend of hers held up a mask of husband John Legend's face; he couldn't be there in person because he was in Paris at the time. 'When your husband is in Paris but you gotta get your Santa on', she wrote.
Chrissy is well known for being thoroughly honest about parenting, Tweeting endless stories about her baby fails and confessing all that goes wrong in Luna's life. And it's exactly that attitude that makes her one of our favourite celebrity mothers.
