Douglas Boothe And Hailee Steinfeld - Romeo And Juliet Video Interview

'Romeo and Juliet' stars Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld talk about the new Shakespeare movie in a video interview. The movie has been written by Julian Fellowes ('Downton Abbey').

'I guess in some time in an actor's life they've done some form of Shakespeare, whether it's on a stage or wherever it is', says Hailee. 'But it's so incredible to have been introduced to it this way and to be able to say that we've done it.' Douglass agreed to the enormousness of the project, adding, 'When I got that call, it was mad. It was like, 'Really, Romeo?! Yes, of course!' You don't get that opportunity every day.' He also said that he was glad producers tried to be as authentic as possible in recreating the story: 'I was just so excited that the producers gave us a chance to set it in the time that Shakespeare really intended it to be set.'
