Sir Elton John has shared his memories from his final tour in a new book.
Sir Elton John is releasing a book documenting his 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour.
The 76-year-old music legend performed 330 shows on his final jaunt across the globe, which commenced in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2018, and wrapped up in Stockholm, Sweden in 2023.
And fans will be able to get insight into the mammoth journey via 'Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road: Memories of My Life On Tour', which arrives on September 24.
The tome is "a rare glimpse at Elton's personal archive of posters, sketches, and never-before-seen photographs and postcards."
Elton's husband, David Furnish - with whom he has sons Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11 - has penned the foreword.
The 'Tiny Dancer' hitmaker announced on Instagram: "It's been a beautiful journey creating this book and remembering the people and places that shaped an incredible chapter in my life.
"As well as the stories and memories, not just from this tour but from throughout my career."
The book follows the 2022 documentary, 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and the Years That Made His Legend', which landed on Disney+ following a theatrical release.
Elton quit touring to spend more time with his sons and spouse.
Speaking at his final show at Stockholm's Tele2 Arena on July 8, he said: "I've had the most wonderful career, beyond belief.
"Fifty years of pure joy playing music. How lucky am I? But I wouldn't be sitting here and talking to you if it wasn't for you. You bought the singles, the CDs, the albums, the cassettes…More importantly, you bought the tickets to the shows. You know how much I love to play live. It's been my lifeblood to play for you guys. You've been absolutely magnificent."
It's the second highest-grossing tour of all time, having grossed more than $939.1 million, behind Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour'.
