Eric Stonestreet picked up his second Emmy Award at the 64th prizegiving in Los Angeles on Sunday (23Sep12), kicking off what is expected to be another big night for the cast of hit comedy Modern Family.

The funnyman beat four of his castmates to the title of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the Nokia Theatre ceremony.

The night's second award went to comedian Louis C.K. (Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series) for his acclaimed Louis.

Like Stonestreet, it was the comic's second win.
