Michael Flatley captured and enchanted audiences with his 1997 televised dance show 'Lord Of The Dance' of which Flatley was both the star and the executive producer. Now, the show is back in an epic re-staging featuring more contemporary outfits, cybernetic space costumes, disappearing tricks as well as Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle performing alongside an award-winning cast. The DVD experience shows the performance as it was filmed at the world premiere at the Palladium Theatre in London.
Having previously directed 1998's 'Feet of Flames', 'Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games' will mark his first directorial venture in some time. Among other cast members are James Keegan, Morgan Comer, Mathew Smith and Alice Upcott, and the new stage adaptation plays host to re-jigged score by Gerard Fahy ('Trad on the Prom', 'Tara'). 'Dangerous Games' marked one of the quickest selling West End shoes of the year and is currently on a major world tour spanning fifteen countries. The London show will be available to purchase on DVD, Blu-Ray and on Digital HD on November 24th 2014, with a box-set collection of Flatley's 20 year career also including 'Lord of the Dance', 'Feet of Flames', 'Celtic Tiger' and 'Gold' out soon.
