X-Men Apocalypse Trailer

X-Men Apocalypse comes as the ninth instalment in the X-Men film series and stars Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy as Raven and Professor X. The X-Men are made up of a subspecies of humans that are born with superhuman abilities and are able to perform acts that are considered not normal for the average human.

The narrative follows En Sabah Nur, a godlike mutant, who wants control over the world. He begins his plan by attempting to change his body in order to preserve his immortality, however this does not go to plan as he is deceived by the mutants in his presence. As a result his Four Horsemen kill these men, but something goes wrong and he becomes trapped in the tomb alive. Due to his failing to gain immortality he embarks on a quest to destroy the world and build a better one with the ashes. On news of his plans and his capture of Professor X it falls to Raven to enlist the help of new student mutants, to make the transition to X-Men and fight back against the God, who is threatening to wipe all existence of the face of the earth.
