Rising British singer Gabrielle Aplin has set up her own record label to help new talent.

The 20-year-old star is one to watch in her native U.K., and has now launched her own music company to represent other artists.

Aplin has signed her first act, Hannah Grace, to the label, and she insists her education in the music business has helped her take on the role of boss.

She says, "When I went to City Of Bath College, I studied the music business. I like being able to understand that side of things, so I've started my own label, Never Fade.

"Hannah's voice is amazing. It's like Beyonce covering (British singer) Michael Kiwanuka. I've been advising her on how to pick producers and which of her songs she should record."
