Comedian George Lopez Is Heading Back To The Small Screen In An Autobiographical Sitcom Called Lopez.
Bosses at America's TV Land network have teamed up with the comedian for a 12-episode series, which Lopez will star in and executive produce.
A synopsis for the show reads: "Too rich to go back to his working class, Latino roots, and too 'brown' to feel comfortable in his affluent celebrity life, being George Lopez comes with many problems."
Lopez previously appeared in short-lived 2014 comedy Saint George, which lasted only 10 episodes, while he also starred in the successful George Lopez show, which ended its six-season run in 2007.
He also became the first Mexican-American to host a late night TV show in the U.S. with Lopez Tonight, which ran for three years.
