Girls Aloud have enlisted the help of Dj Fresh to help them with their comeback as they want to make their new music appeal to the next generation.
Girls Aloud are working with Dj Fresh on their comeback.
The girl band - made up of Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts - will celebrate their 10th anniversary later this year and are writing new material with the 'Hot Right Now' hitmaker.
DJ Fresh - real name Dan Stein - said: ''I've been working with Girls Aloud recently. I can't really talk much about it yet because it's early days but I can say we've been in the studio together.''
The 'Call the Shots' hitmakers - who last performed together in September 2009 - have previously worked with Xenomania on most of their hits, but are writing with DJ Fresh after being impressed by tracks he has made with Rita Ora and Dizzee Rascal.
DJ Fresh - who has been working on the girls' new material with his production group The Committee - says his role is to make the band's music ''dirty''.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''They often turn to me and say, 'Dirty it up and make it crazy.' That's my input - writing dirty hooks that stick in people's heads.''
