Australian singer Guy Sebastian will make history at the 60th annual Eurovision Song Contest in May (15) by becoming the first star to represent his country in the competition.
Australia was offered a wildcard entry to compete and officials have picked the former Australian Idol winner to represent them in Vienna, Austria.
Thrilled Sebastian says, "It's not every day you get to perform in front of that sort of audience - 200 million.
"I'm not sure about the song yet. That is still being worked out. I know that I can't sing something that has been released prior to September, so it doesn't leave me with a lot. Luckily enough I released my album in November... which narrows it down a little bit, or I could write something in the next few days."
The singer will be hoping to take the Eurovision crown from drag queen Conchita Wurst, who won the contest for Austria last year (14). Italy is the current favourite to win the competition.
A punk band featuring musicians with learning disabilities will represent Finland at this year's (15) Eurovision Song Contest.
