Vancouver – the city in which Man of Steel was shot - is the city missing out, but it won’t be devoid of all Batman action; as the winged hero will be everywhere come Fan Expo. “Batman is coming to Vancouver! The largest comic, gaming, sci-fi expo to hit this city is coming this April. Pass on the news to fellow geeks,” read a post on Vancity Buzz.

The Vancouver website also broke the news about Man of Steel’s relocation to Toronto. “Much of last month’s Man of Steel was filmed in our beloved city of Vancouver. However, Syncopy and Legendary Pictures have decided to move the sequel’s production to Toronto where Ontarian film tax credits are much more favourable,” they said.

Regardless of the city in which it’s filmed, Man of Steel will be 2015’s hottest film for one reason and one reason only: Batman v Superman. “Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest superheroes in the world,” said director Zack Snyder.
