Model Jessica Hart has criticised Victoria's Secret fashion show producers for booking Taylor Swift as the main performer at Wednesday's (13Nov13) annual event, insisting she was out of place on the runway.
The I Knew You Were Trouble singer was the headlining act at the Lexington Avenue Armory bash, where she was joined on the catwalk by beauties including Lily Aldridge, Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton, Cara Delevingne and Behati Prinsloo as they strutted their stuff in sexy lingerie.
Swift won high praise from many of her model co-stars for her hits-packed set, but one Victoria's Secret stunner wasn't a fan.
Hart tells Wwd.com, "I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she's great. But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that."
Asked if Swift could pull it off as a Victoria's Secret model, Hart bluntly stated, "No", before adding, "I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
The other performers at the 2013 lingerie show were Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World and Neon Jungle.
