John Legend's fiancee has jokingly accused him of trying to murder her.

After the New York Post reported the 'Green Light' singer pulled a woman into a bathroom and shared ''a steamy make-out session'' with her behind model Chrissy Teigen's back at a club last week, Chrissy took to Twitter to joke that John wanted to kill her to make way for the mystery woman.

She tweeted: ''@johnlegend my tummy hurts and I think it's the chicken you made me last night are you trying to kill me so u can be with your bathroom GF? (sic)''

John joined in on the gag, replying: ''My tummy kinda hurts too. It was a murder-suicide attempt''

However, Chrissy - who has been engaged to John since 2011 - later seemed to have put the incident out of her mind and moved on to tweeting about food cravings.

She wrote: ''In this day of bulls**t online petitions, why can't we be serious and get the ball rolling on bringing back Rice Krispy Treats cereal?

''I am not talking about rice krispy treat squares. I am not talking about rice krispy cereal. I am talking about rice. krispy. treat. cereal!

''Buy it on amazon? You can buy clear Pepsi on amazon too. I need this s**t back mainstream style (sic).''
