Four years after the release of her fourth studio album, Katy Perry returns with a new single entitled 'Chained To The Rhythm'. The most adorable hamster video you will ever see accompanies it, as she prepares to sing the song live for the first time this weekend.

The song - which was released today via Capitol Records - features Bob Marley's grandson Skip Marley, as well as some additional vocals from Sia, both of whom co-wrote the song with Perry. Meanwhile, production credits go to Max Martin and Payami.

The lyric video, directed by Aya Tanimura, features the art of miniature cookery from the extremely talented Walking With Giants. Yes, that's a thing, you heard right. Literally a person using mini appliances, utensils and real food in a dolls house style set up to create a tiny meal. In this case, we watch a burger being made, spaghetti meatballs, tacos and even a cake. All for one lucky pet hamster named Mr. Parsons who also gets to watch his favourite hamster Rory Ruff spinning on a wheel on a miniature television.

Katy Perry is set to perform the song for the first time live at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12th 2017). It's the first single from her forthcoming studio album; a project that we are yet to discover any further details about. 'Chained To The Rhythm' follows Perry's Gold-certified last single 'Rise', which she released for a 2016 Olympics promotional video.
