Katy Perry and Russell Brand's split seemed to have been handled amicably after last week it was revealed that the British comic had refused to accept even a cent of his ex wife's fortune - he would've been eligible for it as the pair had reportedly not signed a pre-nuptial before getting married in 2010.
However it seems that on Perry's side the gloves have finally come off as the star performed at the Grammy Awards with a set list that many in the press have construed as a dig towards Brand. The UK's Metro newspaper pointed out that the first song performed hit song 'E.T' which contains the lyric "You're so hypnotising / Could you be the devil? Could you be an angel?' and 'Infect me with your love and fill me with your poison."
Worse was to come though as she then performed new song 'Part Of Me,' which already contained the potentially vitriolic lines "You chewed me up and spit me out / Like I was poison in your mouth' and 'You ripped me off, your love was cheap / Was always tearing at the seams." However even these didn't seem pointed enough for Perry and she added other lyrics that went "Keep your diamond ring, in fact, you can keep everything - except for me." Clearly all is not as amicable as we all thought.
