Kelis has ''date nights'' with her son.

The 'Milkshake' singer - who has six-year-old Knight with ex-husband Nas and is expecting another boy with her spouse Michael Mora - loves spending quality time with her little boy and can't wait for his brother to be born.

She said: ''Having two sons is going to be so much fun. Boys are for the moms.

''Knight and I have a date night every Friday. This is the best love ever. He says, 'Mama you give me too many kisses.' And I say, 'I'm going to be kissing you like this when you're 50.' ''

Knight can't wait for his brother to be born and Kelis thinks he will be ''incredible'' with the baby.

She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''Knight is just spectacular. He is going to make the most incredible big brother.

''He's always asking, 'Can the baby hear me? Can he see what I'm doing?'

''Even when we're out in public he'll lift my shirt and kiss my stomach. When I had a 4D scan he said, 'I knew it. He looks like me. ''

Despite her own career success, the 36-year-old star doesn't want her kids to follow in her footsteps.

She said: ''I will fight it to the death. I encourage Knight to be creative but I don't want him to think that's all he's got.

''People say, 'Oh he's so cute and funny, get him an agent.' I don't want that for my son. I want him to do something else.''

''If he wants to do it as an adult, I will support him, but I worked very hard to ensure he has a college fund. I want him to use it.''
