A sudden announcement brings 15 brand new 'Game of Thrones' pictures.
The first photos from the new season of fantasy drama Game of Thrones have been released by HBO to accompany the earlier released season four trailer. Before the show's April return, HBO are planning to air a 15-minute behind the scenes look at the fantasy epic. Game of Thrones Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing will air on the 9th February. The 15 new images show most of the film's core cast but HBO are careful not to give too much away. We see Joffrey looking characteristically smug/malevolent, Khaleesi clad in sapphire blue roles looking haughty, powerful and formidable presumably whilst dragons circle overhead, and we see a confused Arya chasing after The Hound, who is armoured.

We also see Sansa being consoled by Tyrion, who is now her husband, and is presumably wondering when she'll be allowed to return home. The single picture of Jon Snow tells us enough: the man of the knight's watch is moving up in the world, as will unfold in season four.
"There's a lot of death this season," Kit Harington (Jon Snow) recently told Access Hollywood at the 2014 SAG Awards red carpet. "I [can't wait] to see [which actor] nailed their death this season." Whilst Emilia Clarke revealed that Daenerys' "dragons help [get her to a throne]," adding that we'll see a "darker and more confident" Khaleesi.

New season four cast members in season four will include Sherlock's Mark Gatiss, Joel Fry ('Trollied'), Roger Ashton-Griffiths ('Gangs of New York'), Indira Varma ('What Remains') and Pedro Pascal ('Homeland'), who will apparently play "The Red Viper" Prince Oberyn Martell, according to Digital Spy.
Game of Thrones will premiere on HBO on the 6th April in the US and on Sky Atlantic on the 7th April at 9pm in the UK.
