Kyle Richards was "curious" about kissing a woman before locking lips with friend Morgan Wade in her music video.

The 55-year-old reality star and the 40-year-old country music star have been subjected to romance rumours ever since their friendship blossomed when they forged a connection on social media.

The 'Halloween Kills' actress even tattooed her initial on Morgan's arm in scenes aired on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', and she claimed her husband, 53-year-old businessman Mauricio Umansky, who she separated from in July 2023, wasn't fazed by her actions.

Kyle agreed to the onscreen kiss with Morgan for her music promo for 'Fall In Love With Me', which was released in August 2023, however, she insists her part was filmed in the July, before her martial separation hit the headlines.

She told host Andy Cohen in a preview of Part 3 of Bravo's season 13 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' reunion: “I never actually kissed anybody on camera — let alone a woman — or off camera. So I was very nervous and anxious, but if I’m being honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes.”

She said of the video's timing: “The music video was done — I want to say a month before that story broke about Mo and me — but obviously once that story came out about Mo and me — we’re not going to make a video after that. We made it before. We already done it."

Kyle insists she wasn't given the heads up about what was planned for the racy video, whilst she only agreed to it if Morgan performed at benefit in memory of her late friend, Lorene Shea.

She said: "I didn’t really know the creative behind it until I got there."

Kyle has said a couple of times she would consider dating a woman amid her marriage woes.

Speaking on Part 1 of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' season 13 reunion, she said: "I have changed.

"I grew up [where] everything had to be by the book and everything your mom teaches you that's what you have to think and believe."

She said of dating a woman: "This last year and a half I have changed. I don't know what the future holds, so why wouldn't I say maybe?"
