Lindsay Lohan thinks English guys are ''cute''.

The 28-year-old star is set to make her West End debut in 'Speed-the-Plow' later this month and she insists she's not letting her personal life destroy her chances of gaining success in the theatrical industry.

Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: ''Being here in London is all about me this time. Yeah English guys are cute, but it's not about the boys. It's about getting away from New York and Los Angeles and starting afresh, which is all very exciting for me.

''I love London and lived here for eight months once before, so it feels like home.''

The 'Mean Girls' star, who documented her battle to get her career and life back on track in her self-titled OWN reality TV series following her sixth stint in rehab last year, admits she's nervous about performing the lead role in the revival of David Mamet's production.

She explained: ''I'm working hard, and yesterday was my first day of reading lines on stage. It was hard work and very scary, but that was what I came prepared for.

''I've been acting since I was a child, but this is completely different and out of my comfort zone.''

Lindsay will star in 'Speed-the-Plow' from September 24 until November 29 at London's Playhouse Theatre.
