Tiger Woods' serial cheating seems to have been set to one side.
Stop everything: Lindsey Vonn and Elin Nordegren, the current girlfriend and ex-wife of golfing pro Tiger Woods, have decided to bury the hatchet and are now said to be close buddies. Why is this news? Because after allegedly being cheated on dozens of times by Woods, Swedish-born model Nordegren vowed that she "hated Lindsey Vonn and everything about [Woods'] romance," as was reported last June.

However, it turns out that the ladies-at-loggerheads weren't as geometrically opposed as they once thought and in fact were primed to cultivate a strong if not weird friendship. Indeed, an unlikely bond has blossomed out of a rather ugly situation. "After meeting her, she found she actually liked her," Us Weekly's source says of Nordegren, who was allegedly been cheated on with over a dozen women during her marriage to the golfer.
It will have certainly helped that both Vonn, 29, and Nordegren, 34, seem to be happily settled in their respective relationships now. Vonn has officially been with Tiger and Nordegren with coal magnate Chris Cline for roughly the same amount of time, which has perhaps helped to erode antagonistic feelings.

Friendship is quite the step beyond being merely civil though, so how did this odd BFF status come about? "You'd think it would be weird, but Elin loves Lindsey and they talk all the time," the source continued, adding "Elin likes that Lindsey is a strong woman."
"Elin found that they are very similar and have a lot in common. They laugh and talk like they have been girlfriends forever." Though the women haven't been snapped out and about on any girly dates yet, their newfound amicable relationship makes sense for Nordegren and Woods' children, Sam, 6, and son Charlie, 5, who reportedly reside with their father.

Will 38 year-old Woods fall back into his hound dog ways though? Although it's hard to say, Us' source seems to think that it's the Minnesotan skier who wears the trousers in the relationship: "Lindsey is really good for Tiger. She's strong, opinionated, and keeps him in line," the source explained.
It'd be a challenge for Nordegren not to see her new billionaire boyfriend Cline as a trade-up from the by all accounts scoundrelous mere millionaire Tiger. Money's not everything though so it's a good job the West Virginian tycoon apparently has niceness to boot: "They both have children, like to keep their personal lives quiet, believe in philanthropy, and enjoy leisure outdoor activity," the source shared.
