Patrick Couderc also said that “voluptuous” women or women with “very prominent hips and a very flat chest” should not wear the designs.

But it's his remarks about lesbians that have upset bisexual Cho.

Couderc said, "If you’re a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won’t want to buy a Leger dress. Lesbians would want to be rather butch and leisurely."

The politically-incorrect Couderc also took aim at women over 55, insisting, "What you’re not noticing is that your cleavage is about two inches too low because you are 55 and it’s time that you should not display everything like you're 23."

Urging a boycott of the brand with the hashtag "#boycottherveleger", Cho took to Twitter.com on Monday (17Aug15) and wrote, "I remember being in a shop in the 90s called ‘horn’ and a dress being PULLED from my hands - they said THAT’S TOO SMALL YOU’LL RIP IT."

It appears Couderc has upset bosses at Herve Leger too - in a statement released on Monday, officials at the BCBGMAXAZRIA Group, which owns the brand, insisted Couderc was not a spokesperson and called his statements "shocking" and "appalling".
