Experts at MACkmyra have launched Motorhead Whisky as part of a Brands For Fans initiative.

The award-winning distillers claim the tipple boasts bourbon influences with "caramel and vanilla notes".

Motorhead frontman Lemmy says, "Life is less painful with Motorhead Whisky. I may consider having a sip now and then", and his bandmate Mickey Dee adds, "We think it's great fun to launch a whiskey in collaboration with a Swedish, world-famous distillery, MACkmyra. The whisky is incredibly good, with full character and fully flavoured... as it's been aged in new American oak casks."

The first batch of Motorhead Whisky, a limited-edition Swedish Single Malt Whisky, will be available at the beginning of next month (Oct15) in Sweden.
