Rapper Nicki Minaj has become the latest artist desperate to hit the studio with British soul sensation Adele.
The London-born singer has wowed music fans across the world with her second album 21, which has enjoyed a seventh non-consecutive week at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Her single Rolling in the Deep is also at number one on the Hot 100 in the U.S.
And the star's dulcet tones have caught Minaj's attention - Adele tops the rapper's list of British musicians she would love to collaborate with.
Minaj tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "There are loads of U.K. artists I'd like to work with. I think Adele is dope (great), I'm a really big fan of hers. I'm sure we'll meet eventually."
Earlier this month (May11), French superstar DJ David Guetta revealed he's so keen to work with Adele, he has already written her a song.
