Of Monsters and Men put on a sizzling set at their Summer Series gig at London's Somerset House last night (16.07.13), playing crowd pleasers galore including 'Dirty Paws' and 'Little Talks'.
Of Monsters and Men gave a stunning set in London last night (16.07.13).
The Icelandic six-piece sizzled in the Somerset House sun as part of the venue's Summer Series, kicking-off their red-hot set with crowd pleaser 'Dirty Paws', from their album 'My Head is an Animal'.
The folk group - Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, Ragnar 'Raggi' Þórhallsson, Brynjar Leifsson, Kristján Páll Kristjánsson and Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson - kept the audience entertained with a series of top tunes through the night including 'King and Lionheart' and 'Love Love Love'.
Addressing the humid conditions, Raggi joked he couldn't understand why it was so warm in London compared to Portugal, where the band have just played.
Despite the heat, Of Monsters and Men ensured they put on an energetic set, showing exactly what they can do with blockbuster tunes such as 'Mountain Sound'.
Just when things hotting up even more seemed impossible, the group cranked up the temperature gauge even further with a pulsating performance of their debut single 'Little Talks'.
The band brought proceedings to a close with the brilliant 'Yellow Light', during which they blasted fake snow down into the audience, much to the delight of the fans.
