Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are "planning something very special" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'The Simple Life'.
The pair have teamed up to shoot a reunion special of their reality TV series and they want to get their fans involved in the "iconic" celebrations.
Paris, 43, shared on Instagram: "Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole. As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show, 'The Simple Life'.
“It’s been so much fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people that I would want to be a part of this is here.
"So basically, Nicole and I are planning something iconic, fun. It’s going to be epic and I want to invite the biggest super fans. So I thought I would come on here and ask you guys to make a video.
“We were just talking about it today and just how much we love all the fans. We love watching your TikToks and when you guys use the different sounds from the show and dressing up as us on Halloween.
“That show was so special. The best memories ever. It’s such a huge part of our life and we love our fans so much so we wanted you guys to be a part of this."
Although 'The Simple Life' was a reality show, Paris previously insisted she was playing a character and got frustrated when people thought that was how she behaved in real life.
She told PEOPLE: "I knew what I was doing but the whole world didn’t, so it was kind of frustrating to me to be perceived in that way because it’s not who I am at all. But it was such an amazing and entertaining show that I would just think of it as entertainment.
"Obviously, I’ve grown as a person. I'm an adult now, but just to be judged and have so many misconceptions based on a character that I had invented myself was frustrating.
“At the same time, I built a huge brand off doing it. So, I don’t really regret it and I’m happy that people are going to finally see this film.”
Paris and Nicole, 42, starred in the show - which followed them on their escapades in small and rural towns in America - from 2003 to 2005.
