Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have welcomed their first child, a baby boy! The couple first announced they were to become parents in September and shared the news of the baby’s arrival on twitter Monday, saying they ‘couldn't be happier'.

‘Beyond delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy last week. All doing well & we couldn't be happier...3 really is the magic number!’ Deeley wrote in a tweet which was later shared by her husband.

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have announced that they’re expecting their first child next year. The 38 year old presenter of ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ and her husband – whom she married in 2012 – said they were “so happy” to make the news public.

Deeley tweeted the happy news on Thursday evening (September 3rd), writing: “Exciting news... Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the spring... Lucky us.” It’ll be the first baby for the couple, who married in secret during a ceremony in Rome three years ago.
