Peter Andre is moving to a new house because he wants to have enough space for his son Junior to have his own football pitch.
Peter Andre is moving house so he can have his own football pitch.
The 'Behind Closed Doors' hitmaker - who has children Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, with ex-wife Katie Price, and daughter Amelia, 16 months, with fiancee Emily MacDonagh - adores his current home but thinks he needs more space to give his kids the things they dream of.
He said: ''I love our home but I want a house that has more acreage. Not because I'm being snobby, but Junior's always dreamed of playing football and I want an actual full-size pitch.
''I want him to be able to have his mates over. I want Princess to ride her bike around her own track and I want Amelia to have a tree house and I want to have my barbecue out.
''Plus I want to be nearer the kids' school.
''The house we live in is beautiful, if I could just pick it up and move it I would. I've been in that house for five years, I lost my brother in that house. It means a lot to me.
''So I've got mixed feelings about it.''
While Junior is very sporty, Peter admits the youngster hasn't inherited his passion for football from him.
He told Britain's OK! magazine: ''Princess is sporty but not as much as Junior. He's obsessed with football and he's really good.
''I've never been massively into football because I left England when I was six - in Australia they're more into rugby and cricket. Now my son is into it, I'm starting to get into it too.
''He's a Manchester United fan because two of my brothers used to make him watch games.''
