Rebecca Front is the latest guest-star to be announced for Doctor Who.
Rebecca Front is reunite with Peter Capaldi in the next series of Doctor Who. The pair's famous on-screen spats were a highlight of the third and fourth seasons of Armando Iannucci's political comedy series The Thick Of It.

Front will guest star in an episode featuring the returning Zygons, though the details of her role are being kept closely under wraps. Front has also worked previously with the Doctor's sidekick Jenna Coleman, in the BBC1 drama Death Comes to Pemberley.

The actress isn't the first Thick Of It star to reunite with Capaldi on the show - Chris Addison appeared in last year's series. Other guest stars confirmed for the upcoming season include Maisie Williams, Michelle Gomez, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye and Jaye Griffiths.
Yesterday we reported on the Doctor Who Festival, set to take place in London this November. The event will be attended by both Capaldi and showrunner Steven Moffat. Taking place on November 13-15, the festival will give fans the chance to interactive with key players on the show as well as getting up close with props from seasons eight and nine, and even take part in a quiz.

"If having the world's favourite Time Lord back on screen every week isn't enough for you (and it's not for me) then The Doctor Who Festival in London is the place to be," Capaldi said.
"I'll be heading there in November to join the fun and if it's anything like the 50th anniversary event, then prepare yourself for total Time Lord mania."
Tickets for the Doctor Who Festival are available from today (June 5).
