Selena Gomez is a workaholic.

Reports surfaced this week that the 21 year-old entered Dawn at the Meadows rehabilitation facility in Arizona this past January, but for not any substance or alcohol issues.

TMZ reports, while in the treatment facility Gomez went against medical advice from doctors and left rehab only after two weeks into a six week program.

The 'Come & Get It' singer left the facility to attend this year's Sundance Film Festival in Utah for the premiere of her upcoming film, 'Rudderless.'

Gomez was reportedly planning to go back to Meadows, but decided not to return after the film festival was over.

The gossip site was told that the staff were not happy with her decision as they think it is vital for any patient to complete the allocated program to achieve full recovery.

The 'Getaway' actress believes she does not have to return due to completing the toughest week of her life, which Meadow's appropriately calls 'Survival's Week.'

Contrary to earlier reports, TMZ also claims Selena was entering rehab for a specific program called DAWN. This was to deal with alcohol, marijuana and Ambien use, as well as addressing her "unhealthy relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber."

This revelation would help to explain her sudden cancelation of key dates in January for her 'Stars Dance' tour in Australia and Asia.

At the time Gomez released a statement that read, "My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them."

Adding, "But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."

Once Selena's rehab stay was public knowledge her bestie, Demi Lovato, directed a supportive tweet to her which read, "Weakness is living in denial. Only the strongest people ask for help."
