WWE competitor Sheamus wants to star in a reality show about his life as a Superstar, just like the E! series 'Total Divas'.
Sheamus wants to appear in a reality TV show about the WWE Superstars.
The 36-year-old star believes the success of E! series 'Total Divas', which follows the lives of the female competitors in the company, has shown that fans are interested in what happens outside of the ring and it's time the men got a shot at it.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: ''I think there should be a new reality show for the guys, I think it would be interesting.
''It should definitely happen now we have the WWE Network. The bigger the Network grows the more content they are going to need and a reality show would definitely take off, especially if it had all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
''Fans want to know more and more about what happens away from the ring, and they want to know about the Superstars as people and what they are all about. The fans are hungry for that knowledge. If it happened, I believe it would be a very successful show.''
Sheamus thinks a good format for the proposed programme would be to follow several of the Superstars on the road as they travel between live events and TV shows across the US and abroad.
The former World Heavyweight Champion believes that would give viewers more insight into their heroes' lives rather than a series based on their training at the WWE Performance Centre.
He explained: ''I think the stuff at the Performance Centre would be interesting at first but it could become a bit repetitive, because the wrestlers are doing the same thing every day, five days a week. It could be interesting if there was enough on there and they had other stuff, then maybe it could be a successful show. Maybe a show about life on the road would be better, because you'd get to see how we actually live and what we have to do outside of the ring.''
Sheamus and the other WWE Superstars are starting to get ready for 'WrestleMania XXXI', which takes place at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco Bay on Sunday, March 29, 2015
