Spector - Chevy Thunder Video

Spector's new single, Chevy Thunder, will be released on February 27th, on Universal's label, Fiction. Their much anticipated debut album will be released at some point in 2012 but for now, Spector will be embarking on their second headline tour throughout February 2012; they will also be supporting Florence + The Machine on their UK and European tour throughout March 2012.

The video for Chevy Thunder was shot in the wastelands of Southern California and was directed by Focus Creeps, who has worked with Arctic Monkeys and Vitamin Water.

Spector comprises Fred Macpherson (vocals); Christopher Burman (guitar); Thomas Shickle (bass); Jed Cullen (synth, guitar) and Danny Blandy (drums). Despite only forming in 2011, the band has had a successful year which saw it end with a nomination on the BBC's Sound of 2012 Poll.

Prior to joining Spector, Fred and Christopher were previously in the band Les Incompetents (2004-2006); Fred was also in the band Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man.

Spector's first three singles, Never Fade Away (released in April 2011); What You Wanted (September 2011) and Grey Shirt and Tie (December 2011) were released on their previous label, Luv Luv Luv Records, before they signed to Fiction. 2011 also saw their first headline tour; acclaim from the media and celebrity fans in Florence Welch; Harry Styles and Tom Vek.
