Steven Tyler joined a busker performing ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ whilst in Moscow over the weekend.
Steven Tyler made one busker’s day – if not his year – when he joined him for an impromptu performance. Tyler was visiting Moscow over the weekend when he saw a busker performing on the street and, after grabbing the man’s microphone, proceeded to perform an acoustic version of his band Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’.

The performance was caught on camera by a number of people passing by. The performance evidently went down well with the crowds as there was plenty of cheering and shouts of thank you in Russian. The 67-year-old Aerosmith frontman then posed for pictures with the busker, who looked somewhat overwhelmed.
It appears the busker, Alexander Anisimov, had no idea who Tyler was at first. He just assumed Tyler wanted to join in.
“I didn’t recognise him at all,” Alexander told the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper (via the Irish Examiner).
“A foreigner came up to me and started singing along. ‘He sings well,’ I thought. But when he started to sing louder and more confidently, it dawned on me who it was. I was stunned.”
Tyler appears to make a habit out of impromptu performances with buskers as last year he joined two buskers in Lithuania for a rendition of Aerosmith’s hit ‘Crazy’.
Tyler and his band were performing in the Russian capital at a free concert to celebrate Moscow City Day on Saturday (5th September). As E! reports, the band performed some of their classics including ‘I Don't Want to Miss a Thing’, ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady)’, and ‘Walk This Way’.
